For the past month maybe two, we have noticed that Luke has unusually shaky hands. The best way I can describe it is like a person with Parkinson’s. Yes, that’s how bad the trembling can be.
Initially I thought it was an infant thing, something which he would outgrow. Time passed and it never got better. I tried to see if there was a pattern to his shaking but it was very random. Trying to get a video of it was even more difficult. Anyway I took him to see his pediatrician and after examining him she reassured me that it wasn’t anything serious, just an immature muscle control.
Fast forward a month, he is now 5 months old and the shakes are still there. We decide to take him to a pediatric neurologist, just to get him checked out. It turned out to be an immaturity of his brain, something that he SHOULD outgrow by the time he turns 1. For now we’re just going to keep an eye on him, I’m just glad it wasn’t anything serious.
